As a supplier of environmentally friendly traction current, we provide compe­ tent and individual advice for all questions concerning power supply.  The EN50463-compliant energy metering system for cross-border traffic, the railpower box, records the exact energy demand per rail vehicle, as well as the matching local data per country through GPS. The railpower box is therefore the opti­ mal basis for energy and cost-saving measures. We are your reliable partner in creat­ ing individual and efficient energy- use and energy-saving potential models. Services such as international data exchange and data evaluation complement our service. One third of the traction current demand in Austria is generated in our hydro­ power plants. The traction current mix of 100 per cent Austrian renew­ able energy mainly consists of hydropower (own hydropower plants, partner plants and purchase agreements). The railways have been pioneers in electric mobility for more than a hundred years. Clean electricity produced by hydropower ensures environmentally friendly transport.
