EUR 1,963.1 million (py: approx. EUR 1,998.8 million). The foreign share of consolidated turnover is approx. EUR 951.5 million py: approx. EUR 1,023.7 million), which is approx. 50% py: 53%). The share of foreign sales revenue therefore decreased by approx. EUR 72.2 million or 7%. In the previous year, they rose by approx. EUR 61.6 million or 6%. In total, Rail Cargo Austria’s sales revenue decreased to approx. EUR 1,907.1 million (py: approx. EUR 1,943.0 million). Approx. EUR 130.7 million or 7% of revenue (py: approx. EUR 110.1 million or 6%) was accounted for by compensation from the Federal Government for the performance of public service obligations. Approx. EUR 9.9 million (py: approx. EUR 10.2 million) is attributable to Technical Services. The key performance data for the transport business within the Rail Cargo Austria subgroup are the volume data in tonnes. In the reporting year, the Rail Cargo Austria subgroup recorded a decline in consolidated freight transport volumes compared to the previous year from approx. 88.4 million to approx. 78.5 million tonnes. In 2019, this figure was still approx. 105.3 million tonnes.
