DEC 2 ÖBB Rail Cargo Group with new TransFER connections The TransFER Tuzla-Rijeka is the first connection of its kind in Bosnia-Herzegovina. At the important Budapest hub, RCG is expanding its new TransFER route between Budapest and Curtici to optimize seamless transportation chains between the economic centers of West- ern, Central, and Southeastern Europe. OCT 28 The Vienna Airport Bus will take you quickly to and from the airport The twelve coaches of the Vienna Airport Bus operated by Öster reichische Postbus AG take passengers quickly and comfort- ably from a total of ten stops in Vienna city center to the Vienna Airport and back. The Vienna Airport Bus is now easier to find with the newly designed buses and ticket machines. ÖBB presents its first upgraded Railjet The 60 Railjets in the existing fleet will be extensively modernized over the next few years. After more than 15 years on the rails and roughly halfway through their planned service life, the trains will be upgraded to new levels of technology and comfort. The Koralm Railway campaign begins Migratory birds take on the role of ambassadors in this visually stun- ning campaign: nothing captures the longing for distant places more effectively than the annual migra- tion of our birds to the South. The campaign is accompanied by a new version of the ÖBB song “Wir fahren grün!” (We travel green!) Grand opening of the Koralm Railway After almost three decades, the time has come. The new 130 km long section of track – with its “centerpiece,” the 33 km long Koralm Tun- nel – was officially opened in the presence of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and many other distinguished guests.
