23 Digital future on track ///////// TRAIN DATA REPORTING (PORTHOS) The electronic recording of train and carriage data facilitates end-to-end information processing during train preparation and subsequent pro­ cesses. We provide the train data reporting application and an interface in order to transmit the necessary data. The latter offers the option of connecting existing customer systems and reporting the data through them. /////// ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT OF TRAIN MOVEMENTS/INFRADOAS In the future, electronic management of train movements will simplify the interaction between the operations control centre and the traction unit. Information relevant to the train jour­ ney is transmitted in digital form. In addition to an interface, infraDOAS provides a turnkey visualisation appli­ cation for driver timetables, speed restrictions and engineering works, commands and driving recommenda­ tions. Information is transmitted directly to the driver’s cabin in a simple, up-to-date and straightfor­ ward format. //////// TRAKSYS We provide a planning tool for infra­ structure capacity in the form of the TRAKSYS route planning system. A digital representation of the infra­ structure, which recognises switches, signals and route restrictions enables us to plan infrastructure capacities precisely and handles the timetabling process more efficiently.
