26/04 Gaming lounge at Vienna Central Station At the end of April, ÖBB will open the ÖBB Next Level Gaming Lounge in BahnhofCity Vienna Central Station, covering more than 300 square metres. Visitors are able to experience an extensive gaming programme on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch free of charge. There is also information about the exciting digitalisation jobs at ÖBB. 05/04 300 new swap bodies for Rail Cargo Group By investing in 300 multimodal swap bodies (WAB), RCG is responding to strong customer demand and expanding its equipment portfolio. The universally loadable swap bodies close the gap between road and rail, enabling the company to offer efficient end-to- end logistics solutions. 01/06 A green fleet for modern maintenance The pioneering renewal of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG’s maintenance fleet continues to gather pace. The company has placed an order for 56 zero-emission high-performance maintenance vehicles – 21 Plasser MultiCrafters for the track, 29 Plasser CatenaryCrafters for the overhead line, maintenance and assembly as well as six Plasser TransportUnits worth almost EUR 250 million. The new feature is proving very popular.
